Trinity Lutheran School is a vital ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church in Franktown. The Christian preschool started in the fall of 1993 with 15 students. It was located in the lower level of the church, where it still is today. The elementary school began in 1994 when the Kindergarten class was added. The total school, Preschool - Kindergarten, consisted of 35 students that second year. Grades 1 and 2 were added in 1995 (total students: 76) and grades 3 - 7 were added in 1996 (total students: 140). Eighth grade was offered for the first time in 1998.
The school continued to grow quite rapidly, and in 1996, the congregation voted to add a modular building consisting of four classrooms, two offices and restroom facilities, which housed the Kindergarten through third grade (Alpha Building). In 2008, a second modular building consisting of four classrooms and a computer lab/library was constructed to give the school more space for and stronger academic programs. The students in the fourth through eighth grades occupy four of the Omega Building classrooms.
